The next thing to look for is the attorney’s experience. You may want to check out their educational background, but the truth is most of what an attorney learns is on the job, especially with estate planning. Find someone who works in your area and has practiced there for a while.
It’s important to remember that the older and more experienced an attorney does not necessarily mean that they are the best fit for you. Another factor to consider is cost.
