How Child Custody Lawyers Think
Here are some great tips from child custody attorneys on how to get started with this process.
First, hire an attorney who knows your case and will fight for you. You want someone who has experience in family law cases.
If they don’t know your case or are not willing to fight for you, then it is not worth their time.
Secondly, make sure they are experienced with child custody cases. If you are going through a divorce and need help getting custody of your kids, hire someone who knows what they are doing. This means that they should be able to tell you whether or not you can get sole custody, joint legal custody, or primary physical custody.
Another important thing to ask is their experience working with children. Do they especially have any experience dealing with young children? Have they worked with children before?
Lastly, ensure to ask for references. Get references from other clients, friends, or colleagues. Find out what they say about the quality of service provided by the attorney before hiring them.
